Arthur Nzeribe was born in Oguta, Imo State on 2 November 1938. Growing up was hard for him as he lost his mother at a young age. Specifically, Arthur  Nzeribe lost his mother when he was in primary school. During the death of his mother, it was made known that his father was not in the country. It was gathered that his father was away in Great Britain studying law.

After the death of his mother, they were nobody to take care of Nzeribe, however, a Catholic priest took him in and he was involved in expanding his education, Mr Arthur attended Bishop Shanahan College, Orlu and Holy Ghost College, Owerri.

After finishing school, in the early 19s, Nzeribe travelled to Lagos in 1957 where he collected employment with Nigeria’s port authority as an engineering cadet, years after working with Nigeria porth, he received a scholarship from the NPA to study marine engineering.

Nzeribe soon left Gulf Oil and returned to London, where he opened Japan, a public relations establishment, with one Ghanaian and two English mates. The establishment worked with several African political operations in London including the Ghana High Commission. The well-conditioned dressed and mannered Nzeribe was suitable to gain the confidence of many notable guests.

Through the Ghana Commission, he met Kwame Nkrumah of Ghana and started to work for him in public relations. Nkrumah also introduced him to other African leaders. In 1966, when the National Liberation Council (NLC) overthrew Nkrumah, Nzeribe and Jeafan compactly lost influence in Ghana but the NLC leadership soon turned to Jeafan to help ameliorate the public image of their administration
Nzeribe developed a working relationship with Joseph Arthur Ankrah, head of the emancipation council, but when Ankrah left office in April 1969, Nzeribe lost influence in Ghana.

In 1969, Nzeribe started up the Fanz Organization grounded in London, dealing in heavy construction, arms, canvas brokerage, publishing and property investment, with important business in the Middle East and Gulf countries. By 1979, Fanz had a periodic trading development of£ 70 million.

In 1999 Arthur Nzeribe has tagged Senator for the Imo Orlu constituency, still, he was Also reelected in 2003. In November 2002, Senate President Anyim Pius Anyim indefinitely suspended Senator Nzeribe due to an allegation of an N22 million fraud. In the December 2006 PDP primaries for the 2007 Senatorial campaigners, he was defeated by Osita Izunaso. In August 2007 Nzeribe was appointed a member of the Board of Trustees of the PDP.
