Anxiety and fear hit residents of the Sabon Gari area of Kano State over a bomb blast in the neighbourhood on Wednesday mornings. Numerous buildings were affected and many people were wounded, including children, in a blast on Aba Road in the Sabon Gari area of Kano on Tuesday, May 17, 2022

However, Details of the explosion and its motive are still incomplete but visuals from the scene show that it affected some houses and left numerous people injured including school children. The eyewitness also confirms that the boom might have claimed many lives with at least one corpse seen on the floor.

subsequently, after the blast, a huge number of people gathered there, with some of them attempting to assist the injured and others lamented the damage.

However, It is not yet understood if one of the buildings housed a school, but the eyewitnesses revealed several schoolchildren being pushed away from the scene. One of them was injured.
