Mobs and protesters have invaded ECOWA and the Catholic Church in Sokoto state over the arrest of the students who participated in setting Deborah Yakubu Ab*aze, over alleged blasphemy.

It was gathered that the protesters took it to the street, to demand the release of the individual.
However, it all started when Deborah made a statement on her school’s WhatsApp forum which her Muslim colleagues deemed blasphemous of Prophet Mohammed (SAW) and that transpired in kil*ing her.
Reacting to this, police arrested the two individuals who participated in k*illing her.
