Mike Ogiasa, a cousin of past President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan has pleaded for his release, after he was kidnapped
Ogiasa performed as Bayelsa Commissioner for Special Duties in charge of Federal Projects and Special Adviser on Power.
It was reported that the retired architect was kidnapped at Otuogidi in the Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa on June 2. Ogiasa was invaded and driven away by armed men after he heeded a meeting in the state.
In the video trending online, A [email protected] Ogiasa was seen in a flooded grave, his hand-tied, as he cries out for urgent help.

Crying out Ogiasa said “You’re seeing me in the grave. Please do everything possible to come and release me. any available money…any money you can make. Do everything possible.
“Is the money more important than my life?”, the captive said with a shaky voice.
However,The police in Bayelsa confirmed the abduction after the incident in June. Public Relations Officer, SP Asinim Butswa said the command was working with other agencies to free Ogiasa.
