According to info, it was observed that Deborah, who is said to be dwelling with her mum in a location identified as the Old Airport Road area of Sokoto metropolis, was condemned for abusing Prophet Muhammad (SAW), during a hectic discussion with her colleagues in school.

It was gathered that She was having a discussion with some of her schoolmates over their ongoing examination and when she was asked how she managed to pass her exams, she announced that it was Jesus who was helping her to pass. She was asked to revoke the statement and apologise which she declined.

However, the students got angry and started beating her up. It was so noisy that the school security stepped in and took her to their headquarters but they were overwhelmed by students after which she was murdered in the process. After assassinating her, her body was burnt on the school premises.
